Wonder is a gift. If we allow it to enter our lives, it has the ability to inspire curiosity, shift our perspective, deepen our gratitude, and build connection. After reading this post by Leah Smart, host of the In the Arena with Leah Smart podcast and watching the video that accompanied it, I was not only unbelievably inspired, I wanted to connect with others and talk about the awesomeness of our very existence. If you have a moment, please watch.
Invitation to Wonder
Below you will find a poem.
My invitation to you is to share what you think the poem is about - an object, person, something in the Universe?
Open your mind and allow your imagination to play. Once you think you’ve figured it out, allow yourself to stay in a space of wonder and dream. Write, sketch, play with what these words inspire in you.
I’d love to read your ideas in the comments.
Ready? Here we go….
I stretch like a cat,
caressing the grass,
and kissing wildflowers,
while making my way to you.
My fingers give me sight, moving
along the shape of everything,
including you; I envy where you are,
Inside both wonder and an adventure.
How can you tell the difference
between the stars,
dragon’s breath,
and fireflies?
Does my presence allow you
to travel to the edge of imagination?
Go, my love, for I am here and,
I will always watch over you.

And Finally, the Reveal
To all those who shared in the comments last week as well on social media, thank you! I loved the magic you found. I used the panning technique to create what I shared but before I did that, this is what I was basking in - the beauty of a flower
For all who shared, I will be sending along a little treat this week so check your email.
I deeply love the beauty in your imaginations. Don’t ever stop playing and dreaming!
So beautiful- to me it felt like the sun’s rays stretching out, touching and caressing with love
Just gorgeous, Natasha! My guess is it’s a beautiful devotional poem between the Beloved/Divine and you. 💕🙏
